Encapsulation is a protective coating applied to the print to preserve the artwork and enhance its appearance. It helps prevent scratches, fingerprints, and minor wear over time. Encapsulation is optional. Prints can also be purchased with the original finish. If you plan to frame the print, encapsulation is not necessary.
